Settling in

27/11/2014

I am now into my 4th week at KNet and it has been a great ride to date, I am really enjoying integrating into the great team here. I am based out of the Sydney office and haven’t made it to HQ in Orange yet but I’m looking forward to meeting everybody at our Christmas party in a couple of weeks.

I have been busy working with contacts in Telstra whilst still keeping in touch with my colleagues over at Cisco. Understanding the new systems and processes has been key for me in my first 30 days and I now feel I am ready to make the next steps in my 30/60/90 day plans.

Some exciting news out of Cisco is the announcement of Project Squared and the new Telepresence unit, it’s good to see where Cisco are heading with their Collaboration strategy.

I’ll be looking at how this could potentially assist KNet’s customers in a positive way. If you have some time you can view the announcement from Cisco’s CEO John Chambers and the GM/SVP of Collaboration worldwide Rowan Trollope.
